Breathing Diseases Management
The keys to being asthma healthy are Prevention and Control. You need to know your triggers and follow your Asthma Action Plan.
Respiratory & Pulmonary Health
At Breathe Easy Sleep Better, our experienced medical team has relevant expertise to deal with chronic and acute breathing related conditions such as pneumonia, asthma, bronchitis, bronchiolitis, emphysema and more. We adhere to proven and standardized treatment pathways and protocols such as those outlined by the Global Initiative for Chronic Obstructive Lung Diseases 2018 Report, for effective diagnosis, management and prevention to reduce lung disease morbidity in Ghana.
When your respiratory system is healthy, you barely give it a thought — but if your breathing is under stress, it is hard to function well during the day or get a restful sleep at night. Our Department of Breathing Diseases provides a compassionate outpatient setting with patient-centered evaluation that includes education, spirometry, and treatment of breathing disorders and conditions.
Proper asthma management involves you or your child seeing your doctor at least every three months. According to published World Health Organisation (WHO) data, 1,704 Ghanaians lost their lives to asthma in 2017. Our team focuses on early asthma diagnosis, comprehensive assessment, effective treatment pathways, patient and family education, and adoption of customized Asthma Action Plans to empower patients in self-management efficacy.
